Intel announces it’s strategy to address ARM adoption

Intel has unveiled its new range of processors due for launch next year, codenamed Haswell.

In recent times Intel has lost out to ARM based processors commonly available in tablets and handhelds, and it claims power consumption to be half of its Ivy bridge offering.

It seems the Intel strategy to address this is to improve power consumption on the x86 processors and to offer full fat Windows 8 devices with >9hours of battery life.
